Advances have been made in the technical implementation of both pillars of the global tax deal, Mathias Cormann, secretary-general of the OECD, said Monday at a Tax Symposium organized by the European Commission.
He said he remained “cautiously optimistic” that the two-pillar tax agreement would be implemented, despite doubts heard from other speakers at the symposium.
