***Important Note*** This self-certification process is now obsolete, as all NHS organisations have now been included in the YouTube Health product features and will see an information panel identifying them as an authoritative source on their YouTube videos.
The NHS has recently published a new
Standard for Creating Health Content.
YouTube is using this Standard for Creating Health Content to help users more easily identify and access authoritative health information from the NHS on the YouTube platform. This will be achieved through the launch of health content shelves (which will surface content from authoritative sources on a shelf within YouTube search results), and information panels attached to channels to indicate NHS credibility. See
here for more information on these features.
NHS organisations are eligible for these product features by submitting this self-certification form to confirm their organisation's compliance with the essential requirements outlined in the NHS Standard for Creating Health Content.
By submitting this form, you acknowledge that your email address and your name will be used to provide updates related to YouTube’s Health products, and your form submission will be retained by YouTube for as long as the Health products are live to serve as proof of your organisation's status regarding feature eligibility.
