We are excited to welcome you to Belfast for the UKLS conference 16-17 April 2024. The full programme will be online shortly, and in the meantime, you can find a provisional outline of the two-day event below. There are dedicated sessions on the impending Census 2021 linkages, an expert panel on the future of longitudinal studies and population statistics and a specialist session on developing shared resources with Republic of Ireland analysts and academics. Registration will be available from February 2024 and also please see our call for abstracts out now.

| 10.30-12.00 | Workshop 2: Research across the nations. This workshop will be facilitated by Dr Kevin Ralston, University of Edinburgh who will share his own experience of conducting cross-UK research before breaking into smaller groups to think about the ideal scenario for conducting comparable research within the UK and what a UK Longitudinal Study might look like. |

| 13.00-14.30 | Workshop 1: Use of Artificial Intelligence to track outputs and subsequent impact. This workshop will be led by Queens University Digital Learning Team and will look at the possibility of designing an integrated and automated system to track and monitor study outputs and their impacts. |
