On this Level Two course you’ll learn how to use digital technology effectively and efficiently as you work through assignments designed to develop your knowledge, understanding and practical skills.
As it’s an eLearning course, you’ll be able to learn at your own pace, and in your own time – you can log in and learn whenever suits you best. But you’ll still receive a Level 2 certificate on successful completion. Please note that this course is being delivered by the ERYC Adult Learning and Employability team and are open to staff and non-staff. As these courses are funded, we will contact you to collect additional information for your enrolment
You will speak to one of our Personal Advisors prior to enrolling on the course. Ideally you should be comfortable with using computers to access online learning and as this is an elearning course, you should be willing to commit to the course and complete activities independently. There are no specific entry requirements needed for this qualification, however it is advised learners should have a minimum of level 1 in maths and English (or equivalent) before starting the course.
In order to join this eLearning course you will need:
A reliable internet connection, a computer/Laptop/Tablet, you may also choose to use a headset or earphones. You will also need access to word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software. You may also wish to have a notepad and pen available for making any notes. You should ensure that you have a suitable place to study that is free from any distractions.
You will need to have access to the East Riding eLearn platform and joining instructions will be sent to you after you have enrolled.
You need to be willing to learn, interested in the subject and have the personal commitment and motivation needed to complete the course by the agreed course end date.
This is an elearning course. You will study completely online and work at your own pace, benefiting from access to online content, including videos, interactive activities and practical tasks.
You will be allocated an assessor who will keep in touch with you to review your work and offer any guidance you may need. You will also agree a planned completion date with your assessor. Typically we would allow 10 calendar weeks for completion of the course.
