Inclusive, diverse societies are better for business and better for economic growth.

Open For Business is a coalition of leading global companies dedicated to LGBTQ+ inclusion. Our task is to present the business rationale on global LGBTQ+ inclusion: successful, enterprising businesses thrive in diverse, inclusive societies and the spread of anti-LGBTQ+ policies runs counter to the interests of business and economic growth.

Our Coalition Partners

Our coalition partners share a deep-rooted commitment to diversity and inclusion in their own workplaces, and they are concerned about the spread of anti-LGBTQ+ policies in many countries in which they operate. By joining Open For Business, they have demonstrated that they are serious about taking action on LGBTQ+ inclusion globally.

NAIROBI BUSINESS DECLARATION ON INCLUSION

Our Kenya Local influencer program is calling on all multi-national companies based in Kenya and businesses based in Kenya to endorse the Nairobi Inclusion Declaration

The declaration is a statement by showing their support for inclusion across all minority groups. It is in line with the Government of Kenya’s promise, through the UN’s Universal Periodic Review Process, to ensure the workplace is free of discrimination regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

This is a significant step for companies in Kenya to show their unwavering resolve and support towards inclusion, not only in the global markets but in challenging markets where they have a footprint. To endorse this Declaration, kindly contact our Country Director
