MIAMI (4 de marzo de 2021) – El cantautor y productor colombiano Camilo continúa su ascenso vertiginoso este 2021 con el lanzamiento de su esperado segundo álbum titulado Mis Manos vía Sony Music Latin/Hecho a Mano.
Tras la gran acogida de su primer álbum Por Primera Vez, que contó con éxitos internacionales como “Favorito” y "Tutu" con las superestrellas Pedro Capó y Shakira, y otros múltiples éxitos radiales, el ganador del GRAMMY® y actual nominado al GRAMMY® regresa con una producción discográfica de 11 canciones que explora todos los lados de su identidad.
“Todo en este álbum esta escrito, producido, grabado, tocado y tachado con mis manos. Al pasar de los días estoy más convencido que Dios me creó con sus manos y me hizo a mano con propósito y con intención. Y si yo estoy creado a su imagen y semejanza entonces toda su herencia esta en mi creatividad, en mi intuición y en mis manos como instrumento de todo eso que convierto en canción”, dijo Camilo sobre la inspiración detrás del titulo del álbum.
Siendo el narrador honesto que es, Camilo creó canciones que rinden homenaje a sus experiencias de vida, mismas que lo han llevado poco a poco a convertírse en uno de los artistas de su generación más consolidados en la música Latina.
En los últimos meses de 2020 y principio de 2021 se empezaron a escuchar los primeros temas de Mis Manos con los lanzamientos de “Vida de Rico”, “BEBÉ” con la estrella dominicana El Alfa y el más reciente “Ropa Cara”. Los tres sencillos lograron entrar en el ‘Global Top 50’ de Spotify y se ubican actualmente en múltiples listados de Billboard incluyendo “Hot Latin Songs”, “Latin Rhythm Airplay”, “Latin Pop Airplay” y “Tropical Airplay”, por mencionar algunos. Los videos de cada tema registran más de 760 millones de vistas combinadas en YouTube.
El cuarto sencillo del álbum titulado “Machu Picchu”, un tema sensual y romántico que cuenta con la colaboración de la artista y actriz venezolana Evaluna Montaner, debutó el pasado 1 de marzo junto a un hermoso video dirigido por ella y Santiago Achaga.
Otras colaboraciones en Mis Manos incluyen a la agrupación norteña Los Dos Carnales en “Tuyo y Mío” y a los galardonados artistas venezolanos Mau y Ricky en “Rolex”.
Para complementar el lanzamiento de Mis Manos, Camilo le obsequio a La Tribu una serie de visuales en su canal oficial de YouTube, dirigídos por Evaluna Montaner y Cristian Saumeth, que reflejan el espiritu de cada una de los temas.
“Mis manos serán las que estén rebotando en las espaldas de las personas que podré abrazar nuevamente cuando pase la pandemia. Mis manos serán las que estarán rasgando guitarra y agarrando micrófono para que esas canciones que se han hecho parte de la vida de las personas y de la mía se encuentren en un concierto”, expresó Camilo.

MIAMI (March 4, 2021) - Colombian singer-songwriter and producer Camilo continues his accelerating momentum into 2021 by releasing his highly anticipated second album titled Mis Manos via Sony Music Latin/Hecho a Mano.
After the successful debut of his album Por Primera Vez which featured international hits such as “Tutu” with superstars Pedro Capó and Shakira, as well as “Favorito,” and other multiple chart-topping radio hits, the Latin GRAMMY® winner and current GRAMMY® nominee returns with an 11-track album that explores all sides of his identity.
“The entire album has been written, produced, recorded, and edited by my hands. Every day I’m more convinced that God has created me with a purpose and intention, and if I’m created to his image and likeness, all of his inheritance comes in the form of creativity and intuition. My hands function as a vehicle to make everything into songs,” said Camilo about the inspiration behind the title of the album.
Being the engaging and honest storyteller that he is, Camilo came up with songs that pay homage to his own life experiences before becoming an international star, that little by little, led him to where he is in the present moment.
He began unveiling music from Mis Manos in late 2020 with the release of “Vida de Rico” (Life of a Rich Man), “BEBÉ” with the renowned Dominican artist El Alfa and the latest “Ropa Cara”, all three singles made it into Spotify´s Global Top 50 and are currently on multiple Billboard’s charts including “Hot Latin Songs”, “Latin Rhythm Airplay”, “Latin Pop Airplay”, and “Tropical Airplay”, to name a few. The videos for each song have gathered more than 760 million views (and counting) combined.
The fourth single titled “Machu Picchu,” a very sensual and romantic track featuring Venezuelan recording artist, actress, and his wife, Evaluna Montaner, debuted on March 1 accompanied by a gorgeous video, directed by Evaluna and Santiago Achaga.
Other collaborations featured in Mis Manos includes Mexican band Los Dos Carnales in “Tuyo y Mío” and Venezuelan artists Mau y Ricky in “Rolex”.
The exponentially growing artist has expanded his exploration of genres including pop, champeta, cumbia, urban, corrido and Colombian folklore, playing an assortment of instruments himself such as guitar, cuatro, ronroco, charango, and piano.
As a gift to La Tribu, the name he lovingly calls his fans, Camilo accompanied the album with visuals for every song included on it, all directed and produced by Evaluna Montaner, Cristian Saumeth, available on YouTube.
