Phil Cole is Senior Lecturer in Politics and International Relations. His most recent publication is Global Displacement in the 21st Century: Towards an Ethical Framework, published by Edinburgh University Press 2022:
His other publications include Philosophies of Exclusion: Liberal Political Theory and Immigration (Edinburgh University Press 2000),The Myth of Evil (Edinburgh University Press 2007), and, with Christopher Heath Wellman, Debating the Ethics of Immigration (Oxford University Press 2011).
In 2019/2010 he was awarded the British Academy Thank Offering to Britain Senior Research Fellowship.
