We are PIONIX

Since our beginning in 2021, we share one common goal: To have a decisive impact on the global spread of e-mobility. We initiated the open source project EVerest and are the leading pioneer in open source software for EV charging. We work closely with our partners and the EVerest community to establish de-facto standards for a unified EV charging ecosystem.

Meet us in person at one of the many tradeshows we are attending in the coming months.

What we do

The EV charging ecosystem is characterized by individual patchwork solutions and a lack of standardization. Many companies spend a lot of money and resources to develop commodity software and to sort out incompatibilities between electric vehicles (EVs) and chargers. We enable all players in the EV charging ecosystem to implement global charging standards. Our expertise in field and simulation test environments and the participation in research projects makes us the ideal partner for compatibility optimization of charging hardware and infrastructure projects.

EVerest Project

EVerest enables you to do what you do best. EVerest is a full-featured open source software stack for EV charging supporting all current industry standards such as OCPP, ISO15118, IEC-61851, etc. It runs on embedded Linux and offers various standardized interfaces to easily set up a full stack environment for EV charging. Learn more at Linux Foundation Energy.
