Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (MNRAS) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal which publishes the results of original research in astronomy and astrophysics, including work which is observational, theoretical or concerned with astronomical instrumentation and software. First published in 1827, MNRAS is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious astronomy journals.

MNRAS Letters publishes original research in astronomy and astrophysics. Letters should be self-contained and describe the results of an original study whose rapid publication might be expected to have a significant influence on the subsequent development of research in the associated subject area. They are handled along a fast-track process and should not exceed five pages in length.

See the current members of the MNRAS Editorial Board, or see the Oxford Journals website for more information (including Instructions to Authors), and to browse MNRAS or MNRAS Letters online.
