Exploring motivation of multilingual speakers in learning English and French as additional languages: A comparative perspective

Dear Student,

The purpose of this survey is to examine bi- or multilingual learners’ motivational constructs in the process of learning French and English as additional languages. The information you share in this survey will provide new insights in the domain of second/third language teaching and learning, facilitate the process of learning French and English at university.

ULB complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This means that the personal information you provide through this survey will only be used for the purposes of the research project. It will not be passed on to third parties under any circumstances. In addition, a procedure has been put in place to ensure that the data is pseudonymised.

After answering the questions in the first part of the questionnaire, you can, if you wish, answer the open-ended questions in the second part of the questionnaire.
