IE Application

The process

FILLING OUT THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

The application form contains detailed step-by-step information on how to fill it in, guiding you through the process.

This platform gives candidates the opportunity to highlight their past experiences and future aspirations.

Your application is subject to a non-refundable admission fee of €150. It will not be reviewed by the Admissions Committee until submitted and the admission fee has been paid. You can find information on how to pay this fee at the end of the application form.

The application may be saved at any time during the process but it must be completed within one month.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED (SPECIFIED IN APPLICATION FORM)

Admission test results, if you took the SAT, ACT, CAS or LNAT (doesn't apply to visiting students).

High School Academic records: transcripts from the previous two academic years as well as any grades you have already received this year. The documents should be submitted in the language they were originally issued. If your documents are in a language other than English, Spanish, French or German, please also submit a translation into English. Official translation into English and Spanish is not compulsory unless expressly requested by the Admissions department during the evaluation process.

Please note that if you are studying in the following education systems, you also need to submit:

  • IB: IB predicted grades (if available)
  • French Baccalaureate: Épreuves Anticipées
  • A-Levels: (I)GCSE certificate(s) and your predicted A-Levels results
  • University transcripts if you are a transfer or visiting student additionally to your High School transcripts you have to send us your university transcripts.
  • One letter of recommendation from your professor/tutor, or another from your Head of Studies/Dean.
  • Copy of your passport, I.D. or residence permit (NIE).
  • A recent CV which includes your academic background, work experience and extracurricular activities.
  • A passport-sized photo.
  • Express yourself: You will find out the topic in the application form.
  • Additional documents: a portfolio of your work, diploma or prize which you feel will give us a better overview of you, your achievements and your interests.

ADMISSIONS PROCESS IN ENGLISH

IE University’s admissions process is carried out entirely in English. Please check the entry proficiency requirements in case you need to present a certificate.
