Changes to buses from Saturday 27 April 2024

The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday 27 April

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 44 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 11 minutes between 1300 and 1900 on Monday to Fridays and 1000-1900 on Saturday and every 16 minutes between 1000-1900 on Sunday. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during the Chelsea Flower Show.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 77 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 11 minutes between 1000 and 2100 on Monday to Saturday and every 13 minutes between 1000-2100 on Sunday. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during the Chelsea Flower Show.

Route 110 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 170 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 11 minutes between 1300 and 1900 on Monday to Fridays and 1000-1900 on Saturday and every 13 minutes between 1000-1900 on Sunday. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during the Chelsea Flower Show.

Route 206 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 236 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 253 will be restored to run its full route between Hackney Central and Euston Bus Station following the reopening of Eversholt Street.

Route 366 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 376 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 394 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

Route 482 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

A temporary timetable will be introduced on route 483 which will widen the frequency of the service to a bus every 11 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and to every 13 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. This temporary timetable will give buses more time to complete journeys during roadworks along the Ealing Road.

Route D3 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Route P4 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times. Route P4 will be operated by Go Ahead London from this date.

Changes to buses from Saturday 4 May 2024

The following timetable changes will take place from Saturday 4 May

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 14 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. No change to the night service which continues to run every 15 minutes on all nights of the week.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 22 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 23 with the service returning to run every 12 minutes from around 0500 to Midnight on all days of the week. No change to the night service which continues to run every 30 minutes on all nights of the week.

Route 28 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times. Route 28 will be operated by Metroline from this date.

Route 31 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with minor changes to times.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 74 with the service returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

Route 135 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels.

Route 148 will have a new timetable on all days of the week with journey times revised to better reflect current traffic levels. The temporary timetable will be removed with buses returning to run every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays. No change to the night service which continues to run every 20 minutes on Sunday to Thursday nights and every 30 minutes on Friday and Saturday nights.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 226 with the service returning to run every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 20 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

The temporary timetable will be removed from route 452 with the service returning to run every 12 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Sundays and every 15 minutes during the late evening on all days of the week.

Route N28 will have a new timetable on all nights of the week with minor changes to times. Route N28 will be operated by Metroline from this date.

Bank Holiday Monday 6 May 2024

A Sunday timetable will operate on all day bus routes and the normal Monday night timetable on night buses on bank holiday Monday 6 May.

Routes 327, 347, 375, 377, 383, 385, 389, 399, 424, 467, 549, H3, K4, K5, R2, R5, R8, R10, S3, SL6 and U10 will not operate on this day.

Long term diversions

Routes Affected: 57, 65, 71, 81, 85, 90, 110, 111, 131, 153, 213, 216, 222, 281, 285, 350, 360, 371, 394, 406, 411, 418, 423, 452, 464, 465, 481, 671, 698, C1, E2, K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, N21, N65, N87, N137, R68, R70, U1, U3 and U5.

Ship Hill is currently closed between Maesmaur Road & Borough Road for Thames Water works. Route 464 is only operating between New Addington and Biggin Hill, Stock Hill before diverting to start and finish at Biggin Hill, Kings Road. A minibus shuttle is in operation between Biggin Hill, Kings Road and Tatsfield running via Sunningvale Avenue, Ricketts Hill Road, Church Hill, Clarks Lane & Tatsfield Approach Road. This will be in place until 20 April 2024.

Envoy Avenue in the Hatton Cross area is closed westbound while roadworks take place. Routes 90 towards Feltham, 285 towards Kingston and 423 heading towards Hounslow are diverted via the Eastern Perimeter Road and will be unable to serve bus stop M on Envoy Avenue, No change to buses in the eastbound direction. The closure will be in place until the end of April 2024.

Route 394 is currently on diversion towards Homerton Hospital due to the closure of Wimbourne Street. Route 394 is diverting from Cropley Street via Eagle Wharf Road, New North Road, Baring Street, Bridport Place and Poole Street to New North Road. No stops will be missed. Buses towards Islington Angel will not be diverting and will remain on normal line of route. The diversion will now be in place until Summer 2024.

Kingston Cromwell Road bus station is closed until Summer 2024. Buses which normally stop in the bus station or on Cromwell Road are serving temporary stops, diverting or stopping short of their normal destinations. Stops A1 to A16 and Z1 as well as stop R on Wood Street are closed for the duration of the works. Two new temporary bus stops with shelters are located to the east of the bus station on Cromwell Road. Beech Street in the Barbican area is currently closed westbound due to building works. Route 153 towards Finsbury Park is diverting after leaving Liverpool Street Bus Station with buses going via London Wall and Aldersgate Street to Barbican Station to get back on route. The stops on Moorgate and Chiswell Street will not be served. There is no change to the route towards Finsbury Park. This closure will be in place until November 2024.

Due to road layout changes at Kensal Rise Station by the local borough, route 452 is suspended between Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's and Kensal Rise Station until further notice. Passengers should use route 52 between Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's and Kensal Rise Station. Route 452 continues to run as normal between Ladbroke Grove, Sainsbury's and Vauxhall Bus Station every 10 minutes during the daytime on Monday to Saturdays and every 12 minutes during the evening and all day on Sundays.

Due to the collapse of the carriageway on Station Approach at West Drayton Station buses are unable to serve the bus stops directly outside the northern entrance to West Drayton Station. For bus routes 222, 350, 698, U3 and U5 passengers should use bus stops H for southbound buses and stop G for northbound buses (both named Ferrers Road) on Station Road which is a short walk from the Warwick Road entrance to West Drayton station. Route U1 will set down at bus stop C and pick up from bus stop D on Horton Road. These arrangements will continue until the works to rectify the issues with the carriageway have been resolved.

Due to the damage caused by a recent fire, Slough Bus Station is currently closed with bus route 81 unable to serve the Bus Station. Buses are terminating at bus stop H on Wellington Street opposite Tesco and picking up passengers from bus stop PQ outside Lloyds Bank on Slough High Street.
