about
The sound on 'Dona Ignez' has been described as 'early Floyd', with elements of more contemporary acts such as , Supergrass and Radiohead. The recording was done in 'one take' style, each vocal and instrument being recorded in one take (no rehearsal) before being finely mixed by the artist. A final 'clean-up' mix was completed by Sandor Borsi.
lyrics
I challenge myself in the most ridiculous ways
I channel my energy on a wave of sacred sound reverberating in a cave
I make my life in a cage, take a stride I'm on my way man
Hope this night succumbs to day
Can see it all evaporating
Can't always be invigorating
I see the world upside down, turn a smile into a frown
I make my bed but won't lie down on it
I care a lot, it's no disgrace, I cannot look upon my face
For fear I'd cry for it
Anyway it's just a phase, I've fallen back in the race
Break a leg, you'll be ok
Can see it all evaporating
Can't always be invigorating/liberating.
