Welcome to the UK Cell Adhesion Society

The UK Cell Adhesion Society (formerly known as UK Adhesion Society) is a forum created in 1996 by leukocyte and endothelial cell biologists with the aim of promoting discussion and exchange of ideas on the role of adhesion molecules and intercellular interactions in all the aspects of adhesive responses relevant to physiology and pathophysiology including cell trafficking, immunology, cancer cell biology and angiogenesis.

Joining the Society is free (click here). In order to promote maximum interaction between members of our scientific community, the Society is currently offering a series of outstanding Webinars to take place on Wednesdays of the 3rd week of each month, from 4-5pm (London, UK Time) via Zoom platform.

Please join us for our next webinar!

Our next guest speaker is:

Robert Insall,

Professor of computational cell biology from the University of Glasgow, UK.

Speaker’s bio can be found HERE

Webinar’s title is:

“Self-steering – how cells explore the environment by making their own competing chemotactic gradients”

The webinar will take place on:

TUESDAY, 19th of March 2024, at 4pm (BST/GMT/ UTC+0)

Please register in advance for this meeting for free: HERE

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Please check our noticeboard section for current available positions.

The UK Cell Adhesion Society has always had strong links with other European Adhesion Societies, and regular joint symposiums take place with our German, Dutch and Italian colleagues. We are looking forward to seeing you at our forthcoming Webinars. For all information, please contact us at info@ukcelladhesion.org
