LACCW 2022 was held from 18-22 July in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The Week engaged and empowered stakeholders to drive climate action across countries, communities and economies. Working together opens opportunity to advance climate action, address social inequalities and invest in development that is good for humanity and nature. LACCW 2022 opened a collaboration platform to explore:

  1. Resilience against climate risks
  2. The transition to a low-emission economy
  3. Partnerships to solve pressing challenges

LACCW 2022 was hosted by the Government of the Dominican Republic. The event was organized by UN Climate Change in collaboration with global partners UN Development Programme, UN Environment Programme and the World Bank Group. Partners in the region include the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UNECLAC), the CAF–Development Bank of Latin America, and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

Thank you to all who contributed to success at LACCW 2022.
