Irvine Memorial Lecture 2020 (rescheduled): The Divinity of Nature in Stoic Philosophy Professor Anthony Long FBA, University of California, Berkeley

This 2020 Irvine Memorial Lecture, which was postponed during the pandemic, will be given by Professor Anthony Long FBA who, as well as being the Chancellor's Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Classics, is the Irving G Stone Professor Emeritus of Literature and Affiliated Professor of Philosophy and Rhetoric at the University of California, Berkeley.

The event will be introduced by Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dame Sally Mapstone and followed by a Q&A chaired by Dr Alex Long, School of Classics.

There will be a reception in the Physics foyer after the lectureafter the lecture.
