AXIS Network Mentoring Scheme Launch, Cohort 4 – April to October 2020
Following the great feedback that we have had from mentoring cohort 3, we are now opening applications to all AXIS members to take part in Cohort 4.
The key message from cohort 3 feedback was the extent to which D&I was evident. This scheme offers an opportunity to develop strong partnerships across the industry, across disciplines, and across ‘seniority’ levels (age and organisational) as well as welcoming all genders as mentees and mentors. The only condition to participation is that mentors and mentees are AXIS members.
Cohort 3 participants valued the surprising partnerships which occurred when the matchings tested and ultimately expanded their views of what a mentor or mentee ‘should look like’.
The AXIS Mentoring scheme has facilitated the coming together of AXIS members in a supportive way, encouraging mutual growth and progression.
We are currently looking for mentors and mentees to take part in the next cohort; we will do our best to accommodate all those who are interested in becoming involved. If you would like to take part, please email info@axisnetwork.co.uk with the subject line “Mentoring Scheme - Cohort 4” providing your name, contact details and whether you would like to take part as a mentor or a mentee. We will then ask you to complete a short application form to understand what you are looking for so that we can match mentors and mentees. These applications must be returned by Monday, 23 March 2020 and we will inform applicants of the matching outcomes in early April.
There will be an informal launch event for Cohort 4 participants on Wednesday 22 April 2020, (6 - 8pm) to outline some of the key points and allow participants to meet each other. The programme itself starts in April 2020 running until approximately October 2020.
