VASLan Organisation Spotlight: East Kilbride Arts Council
This week, we are spotlighting East Kilbride Arts Council, which aims to promote interest and participation in arts within the local community in East Kilbride. It represents local arts organisations, promoting and supporting arts-related events, assisting in forming new clubs connected with art, publishing and distributing information on local organisations/clubs connected to skills and liaising with South Lanarkshire Council on matters relating to the development of arts in East Kilbride.

The climate conference is an exciting opportunity to unite people to discuss climate change at an individual and community level.

NAS Fundraiser at Blantyre Miners
National Autistic Scotland South Lanarkshire Brand will hold Fundraiser Night at the Blantyre Miners Welfare Social Club.
The event will be held on Friday, 21st April from 7.00 pm to 12.00 am. The ticket is £5 per person.

Community Ownership Fund
The £150 million fund has been set up to help communities take ownership of assets at risk of closure. Funding may support the purchase and/or renovation costs of community assets.

Scotch Whisky Action Fund
The fund supports targeted interventions to tackle alcohol-related harms in Scotland’s communities. New initiatives and pilot projects that test out innovative approaches designed to reduce alcohol-related harm are particularly interesting to the fund.
