This session was developed jointly by the NHS Lothian professionals from Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and CAMHS Intellectual Disability.
We discuss some reasons why children and young people might limit their food and share ideas on increasing the volume and variety of foods, where there are real concerns about nutritional status. We suggest practical strategies to try at home for mealtimes, explore learning opportunities for new food and food chaining.
