This month's Build-a-Flower is da bomb!

The solid and outline stamps are super easy to line up. I am particularly loving the detailed outline stamp! Once you stamp with one of the flowers,  you know you are hooked!Altenew-BAF Hellebore-Virginia#1
Because the layered stamping was easy, I stamped many flowers in one session and wanted to use them all.

I purposely chose kraft card stock to show off the edges of the flowers. The inlaid die-cutting enhanced overall dimensions.

I die cut the larger flowers and positioned them on the kraft card stock. On top of that, I used foam tape and added more flowers on top.
These extra steps really maximize the number of flowers and minimize the bulk!
My color combo is loosely based on this set of ink, plus the Golden Sunshine Oval Ink  (love that set). Let me tell you, these inks make the color-layering a cinch!

I hope that you like my rendition of this Hellebore Build-a-Flower.

Great card - I love that simple XO sentiment - it is so perky, short, and cute and in great contrast to those lovely hellebores!

Love how you thought outside the box to enhance your focal point and, of course, added the dimension to make those flowers pop.

Love the colors you used for the Hellebores and the way you arranged them on the card front. The kraft card stock adds a nice touch and really shows off the edge of your flowers.

I really like the Kraft cardstock for the background as it makes the flowers pop & gives it a whole different look from a white cardstock. I have a Shooting Star Hellebore, also known as the Christmas Rose, in my garden & the delicate pale colours against the dark leaves are so pretty.
