The PGA Ocean Course at PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet is a stunning 7,400-yard championship layout designed by former World Number One golfer Greg Norman. Offering panoramic views over the East Sea, all 18 holes wind between a mixture of both parkland and links-style land, with stylishly rugged bunkers lined with native grass that punctuate the undulating fairways.

Signature ‘mini fairway’ tees measure up to 100-metres in length on some holes, allowing the course to be set up in several different ways, offering both variety for regular visitors and teeing options for every standard of golfer – whether the world’s best professionals or absolute beginners.

Designed to adapt to the prevailing wind, many of the holes provide numerous options from the tee, depending on how a player wants to approach the green. Norman is known as the ‘Great White Shark’, and there are not only ‘Shark Lines’ for those wanting to be more aggressive on-course, but there are also several ‘speed slots’ in many of the fairways that, if found, will give any shot a helping hand towards the green and set up a potential birdie opportunity.

Don’t forget about the 19th hole, a short par 3 that has been added to the course between the 14th – 15th holes, creating a fun and exciting experience for golfers during their round. The hole is unique as it occupies a key wetland area with an island green designed in the shape of a starfish, showcasing breathtaking views of the East Sea.

Made with 100 per cent Zoysia and Primo Zoysia grass, which uses less fertiliser and requires less water, the PGA Ocean Course has also been built with the environment in mind. All of which combines to ensure any visitor has a truly exceptional golfing experience.
