Highlights

Classic Thailand

Travel on Bangkok’s canal boats and tuk tuks to see the city like a local. Explore the legendary Golden Triangle and learn more about elephants in Thailand’s lush northern jungles. During your holiday in Thailand you’ll also delve into Chiang Mai’s lively night bazaar, learn to cook authentic Thai food and find out more about the country’s rich culture. Complete your Thailand tour with a stay on the paradise island of Phuket where you can snorkel with tropical fish and relax in the warm Thai sunshine.

UK - Bangkok

Maximise your time in Thailand by flying overnight to Bangkok.

Bangkok

Bangkok is a vibrant and energetic introduction to Southeast Asia. After being fast-tracked through Bangkok's busy airport, we’ll take you to The Peninsula, a calming haven with a three-tiered pool, spa and restful river views. Relax here, or head out to explore the city.

Bangkok

Explore Bangkok with a private guide and see the city like a local. Float down hidden canals in a traditional boat, take a tuk tuk to the Grand Palace and visit the Emerald Buddha, one of the most sacred sites in Thailand. Next, you’ll head to the Golden Mount Temple for distant views over the city’s oldest districts.

Bangkok - Chiang Rai

Take a short flight up to Chiang Rai, a town in the heart of the Golden Triangle. The region where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet, it was once notorious for its unchecked opium trade. Find out more about the area's infamous past at the Hall of Opium Museum. During your time in Chiang Rai you can also learn about the Asian elephants, join a cookery class and even tour three countries in one day.

Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai

A lively, bohemian hub set in the verdant mountains, Chiang Mai is the capital of northern Thailand. After the drive from Chiang Rai, you can relax at 137 Pillars House before venturing out into the city. We recommend an evening visit to the vibrant night bazaar”.

Chiang Mai

The Chiang Mai area is full of history. Although its name means 'new city', it was founded in 1296. To explore some of this heritage, visit the lost city of Wiang Kum Kam, known as the Underground Empire. You can also take a rickshaw ride through Chiang Mai's old town and head up to the beautiful Wat Doi Suthep, which dominates the hillside to the west of the city.

Chiang Mai

One of the best ways to get to know Thailand is through its mouth-watering cuisine. Learn to cook a few Thai specialities in a private cooking class. You’ll visit a local market to select the best ingredients before returning to the kitchen to make the magic happen. Once the work is done, you can sit down to enjoy the fruits of your labour.

Phuket

White sand, turquoise seas, colourful reefs and swaying palms. Thailand's islands take some beating and Phuket is one of the most enticing of them all. Less than two hours by plane from Chiang Mai, it offers sunshine, beautiful beaches and great hotels. With four nights here, you have plenty of time to relax and soak up the scenery.

Phuket - Bangkok - UK

Say goodbye to the clear waters and white sands before boarding the short flight to Bangkok for your onward flight home.
