Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Campbeltown Airport is located near Macrihanish at the foot of the Kintyre peninsula, approximately 5.5km (3.4 miles) west of the town of Campbeltown.
      From the north follow the A83 south from Tarbert down the west side of the peninsula, until it turns inland near Westport beach.
      After approximately 4km (2.5km) turn right. Then after 1.4km (0.8 miles) turn left, signposted "Airport", down Moss Road.
      The airport is 1.7km (1.1 miles) down on the right.
      From Campbeltown, take the B842 west.
      After approximately 2.8km (1.7 miles), turn right, north up Moss Road.
      The airport is 2.5km (1.5 miles) on the left.
    • There is free parking directly in front of the airport.
      There are two Blue Badge bays within the car park.
  • By Bus View
    • There is not a bus stop within 150 metres of the venue.
    • The nearest bus stop for a scheduled bus service is at the end of Moss Road, 1.7km (1.1 miles) north of the airport.
      The stop is served by the 433 bus route operated by West Coast Motors.
      An alternative is to use the Pingo Service, an on demand bus service for use in the Campbeltown area for locations not served by standard bus routes.
