Diwali - the Hindu festival of light takes place over five days and falls on a different day each year. This year, Diwali takes place over five days from 10 November to 14 November with the main day of celebration on Sunday 12 November.

The festival is celebrated by millions of Hindu, Jains and Sikhs across the world and each religion marks different historical events and stories. It spreads the message of the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.
