New Provider! Educational Visits and Learning Outside of the Classroom
We are pleased to announce, that following the retirement of Richard Batty and Tom Lilley from Shapestone Consultancy ltd, with effect from the 7th May 2024, we have a new provider for the provision of Educational Visits and Learning Outside of the Classroom Advice and Guidance. The new provider is Educational Visits and Guidance Limited who can be contacted at: info@edvisguidance.co.uk There are two named Educational Visits Advisers who will be available to you for advice and guidance; Sarah Ramsay and Laura Wilson. For advice and guidance relating to Educational Visits and Learning Outside of the classroom, you can contact Sarah and Laura: Sarah Ramsey Laura Wilson E: info@edvisguidance.co.uk E: info@edvisguidance.co.uk M: 07833300510 M: 07816060020 There may be occasions where Sarah and Laura are unable to answer your call e.g. whilst delivering a training course, however, they will get back to you as soon as they are able to. Sarah and Laura are familiar and experienced in the use of eVisit so please continue to use eVisit for the planning of your educational visits and learning outside of the classroom. Training will soon be made available and communicated via BESS.
Dual funding app
Dual Funding 2024/25 - Applications now open!
Following the success of 2023/24 Dual Funding scheme, we are pleased to launch the 2024/25 initiative. The application is only available to Community, Foundation and Voluntary Controlled schools. (This excludes Voluntary Aided, Academies and Free schools).Several schools across Birmingham have benefited from Dual Funding in 2023/24. Compliance Return
Annual Statutory Compliance Return 2024
The Annual Statutory Compliance Return is now live and can be accessed using the following link:https://www.birminghambeheard.org.uk/economy/d79529a8The date for completion of the Compliance Return is Friday 3rd May 2024.Once the deadline for returns has passed, a sample of schools will be selected for an audit of their compliance which will be undertaken by Schools Safety Services.Please be aware that any school failing to submit a return will be first on the list to be audited.
