The Solidarity Sessions

At the heart of the movement to end poverty are the communities living with its realities. As the church we are called to join them, to put our faith into action and act in solidarity.

Join us at The Solidarity Sessions and get equipped to stand with our sisters and brothers.

COP26 – How do we keep going? Register here

Tuesday 7 December 18:30

We've marched, we've lobbied, we've petitioned, we've prayed. There's lots to celebrate, but the struggle for climate justice continues. How do we keep going? We’re delighted to welcome guest speaker Jo Musker-Sherwood to share ideas around how we navigate the climate crisis whilst caring for ourselves and the planet.

With a mixture of theory and practice, you'll learn a variety of strategies to care for yourself and manage eco-anxiety. Join us as we spend time fuelling up as we pursue justice together.

About Jo

Jo Musker-Sherwood has over fifteen years’ experience in the charity sector.

As the Founder Director of Hope for the Future, she oversaw the charity's growth into a national NGO impacting climate policy at all levels of government. Having experienced activism-burnout, Jo turned her attention to developing strategies for emotional and ecological wellbeing.

She is a coach in training, and currently researches, writes, mentors, and consults on emotional resilience strategies for those working in the environmental sector.
