You might want to bookmark this page so you can jump back in whenever you need to.

What is enrolment and why it's important

Completing your enrolment opens the door to student life: your student identity, funding, course information, learning and support resources, student entitlements, discounts and more.

In fact, without completing your enrolment, you simply won’t be able to access everything you need to study, work and live your best Coventry University London student life!

A completed enrolment is the gateway to your student life – here’s how you do it:

(Note: A small number of our courses enrol using a different platform so you may see different screens than shown in this video)

Are you are a UK fee-paying student or an international fee-paying student?

If you don't know please check your offer letter.

UK fee-paying student

Follow these steps to enrol

  • Once you’ve accepted our offer, look out for our follow-up email about two weeks before teaching starts (check key dates above) – this one takes you to our dedicated student enrolment portal and will walk you through the enrolment process step-by-step.

UK fee-paying students - if you are accessing a loan via the Student Loans Company, please confirm if prompted. If you are self-funding, please select this option when prompted. You can also find tuition instalment dates and how to pay on this page.

If you are an international student paying UK fees, i.e. you do not hold a British or Irish passport, you will be required to complete Right to Study (RTS) check. You will need to do this in person with the Compliance team in University House. You can request a right to study check by completing this form once you are available for a check: Request for RTS form

You’ll be given your student account and you’ll also have the chance to get to know the tools we have in place to help you get to know your way around campus and explore our online learning environment.

  • No student ID? No student loan, no access to your accommodation, facilities and services, no important news and updates, no discounts, no fun - it’s that simple.

After you've completed your enrolment, you can collect your Student ID in person.

Please visit: University House Reception, Middlesex Street, London.

    Dates and times: Weekdays from 29 April 2024, 9am - 4pm.

All students must provide proof of identity and nationality to get a student ID card.

In order to verify your identity, you’ll need to bring the documentation listed in  our accepted proof of identity and nationality document.

Online only or distance students: you will not need a student ID card unless you want to access campus facilities and services.

  • There may be times when you need to prove your status as a student, e.g. opening a bank account - you can generate a student status letter by logging into the Student Portal or via the Wayfinder app.

  • All the latest information about your course enrolment, our facilities and services will be on our website, so keep checking back in to stay up to date before you arrive and when you get here.

You'll also find details on the Wayfinder app.

International fee-paying student

If you are an international fee paying student please read our enrolment guide.

Returning students

Welcome back to Coventry University London, you’ll need to re-enrol with us before starting the next year of your course.

You will receive your link to enrol from 15 April 2024. If you have not received your link by the 26 April 2024 please check your SOLAR page and follow the enrolment link. If there is no link please check your results to ensure you are eligible to re-enrol and contact your Campus Registry team so they can update your record or discuss options with you.

Pay your fees

Home students applying for a student loan must do so every year. You can find all the details on the UK Government website.

International full-time students must pay £8,000 to re-enrol.

If your fees are being paid by a sponsor (e.g. an employer or government body) you will need to send your sponsor letter for approval to debtenq.fin@coventry.ac.uk. We require a new sponsor letter each academic year. Please note, family and friends are not classed as sponsors.

If you haven’t paid your tuition fees in full, please ensure you make payments by the tuition instalment deadlines.

The quickest and most secure way to pay is by using Convera payment platform.
