The stunning Cartama Oval is surrounded by the backdrop of the Malaga mountains. Due to the fabulous Mediterranean climate, cricket can be played all year-round on the Costa del Sol, only 15 minutes’ drive from Malaga Airport and 20 minutes from Malaga city centre.

“Spain’s weather is perfect for year-round cricket, and Cartama’s cricketing facilities and proximity to the beach make it a truly awesome destination especially for cricket fans and holidaymakers,” said Daniel Weston, Founder of the European Cricket Championship.

“The quality of the facilities at Cartama make it a perfect site for us and we are certain that this is the beginning of a fruitful long-term partnership with Sports World Spain that will bring much success.”
