CAIRO – 16 December 2020: Sharm El-Sheikh Museum was opened on October 31, 2020, by Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, among numerous other openings and inaugurations accomplished by Egypt's Min. of Tourism & Antiquities in 2020.

It is the first museum of antiquities in the coastal city of Sharm El-Sheikh, which is world-famous for its sun and sandy picturesque beaches.

Now, it has a cultural radiance center; a tangible addition to the promising tourism in this charming city.

The opening of this museum is in line with the Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities’ plan to integrate leisure and culture tourism, to give tourists a unique mixture where they can enjoy the beaches and marine activities and at the same time get a glimpse of Egypt’s great civilization.

Sharm El-Sheikh Museum....Culture by the Sea.
