ARTEMI Studio or ART M I Art Studio by Milda I
As I like to call it - Childhood reimagined
I lie down on paper fragments of my childhood from home in Lithuania. Chasing fairies in a little girl's world... Summers spent with my mum and granny picking wild flowers and herbs from fields and forests. Being apart from the family during the lockdown last year made me emotional and all these happy images re-emerged. I dusted off my paint brushes and started dipping them in memories. Subsequently, exploring my fantasy lanes became my essence of daily routine. My adult horizons are wider and now my range is broader - from plant paintings and greeting cards to nautical photographs and graphic posters.
Started as an art therapy, evolved into something I want to share. With my mum's encouragement, I am now able to offer my wall art and greeting cards to you, your homes and your loved ones. They come from the depth of my heart and my home to yours.
Due to the nature of my artwork, botanical elements are frequent in it. That naturally led to the ArteMI Studio symbol - hunting arrow of Greek goddess of wild nature Artemis. Except, mine one uses an arrow with a tip of a leaf that should, in this day and age of global warming and deforestation, hit every human being's heart and be a call for action to protect the home planet. My name Milda is also the name of a goddess. In ancient Lithuania she was a goddess of love. With that, I feel obliged to spread love through my love for nature and I take that as a most satisfying mission.
Another way I nurture nature is that I use recycled paper for my cards and recycled/recyclable materials for packaging and I aim to only use 100 % of recycled materials in the future.
