About this event

As with many aspects of life since COVID-19, the ways we now live and work have altered. None more so has this change been seen than within the care home sector, that has undergone a relentless requirement to demonstrate adaptability.

Over the past few years care homes have worked and continue to work exceptionally hard to deliver outstanding care. To acknowledge this effort Birmingham & Solihull ICS will be holding a conference dedicated to care homes, to acknowledge this work, and share examples of learning.

What is the aim?

The aim of the conference is to gather representation from Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and Dementia care homes from across Birmingham & Solihull nursing and residential homes. To discuss and share a variety of subjects that centre around resident deterioration identification and learn about new services that can support care homes in the future.

Who is the conference for?

The full day event is aimed at home managers, assistant managers, and clinical leads. Due to the level of demand for tickets we are asking that only two representatives from each care home book tickets. Should you require more tickets then please contact the organiser directly.

Who will be speaking?

The proposed agenda includes speakers from across the care sectors - CQC, West Midlands Ambulance Service, Local Authorities and Acute Sector. There will be opportunity for Questions and Answers and group discussion throughout the day.

We look forward to seeing you and spending time networking together.
