About this event

The purpose of Schwartz Rounds is to understand the challenges and rewards that are intrinsic to providing care, not to solve problems or to focus on the clinical aspects of patient care.

The underlying premise for rounds, is that compassion shown by staff can make all the difference to a patient’s experience of care, in order to provide compassionate care, staff must feel supported in their work

We welcome you at this event if you are a student or a new registrant from the following CCCU professional courses:

Nursing

Social Work

Diagnostic Radiography

Physiotherapy

Operating Department Practice

Paramedic Science

Physician Associates

Occupational Therapy

Speech & Language Therapy

Please bring your work ID or student ID to the event with your ticket.

Most people find the round supportive and reflective. If you require further support following a Schwartz round, you can catch up with one of the round organisers following the round closure.
