About this event

Description:

Compassionate Mindfulness Resilience (CMR) is suitable for anyone who teaches, supports and/or cares for others. No previous experience is necessary as this course teaches simple, effective evidence-based practices, skills and techniques using mindfulness and compassion.

‘I am now more aware of my overwhelm when it comes up and I know what to do about it. I feel calmer.’ Claire - Nurse

CMR helps individuals manage stress, develop resilience, and enhance wellbeing. This is done by sharing information about mindfulness, a little neuroscience, introducing compassion, empathy fatigue and secondary trauma.

Participants will collate a toolbox of mindfulness and compassion practices, techniques and skills that can benefit their own wellbeing and help equip to better support others.

‘The course flew by and I was left wanting to know more about mindfulness, having experienced the difference it makes.’ David
