About this event

The Centre for Science and Security Studies at King’s College London is holding a nuclear history conference online in July 2020. Academics, veterans of Britain’s nuclear programmes and other researchers from around the world will come together for informal discussions of nuclear history.

Wayne Cocroft and Egle Rindzeviciute will talk on the theme of preserving the world’s nuclear heritage.

Wayne is a senior investigator for Historic England, specialising in cold war and nuclear archaeology. He will present an overview of nuclear heritage protection in Europe and worldwide, reviewing the findings of a recent conference in Berlin and adding his own perspective.

Egle Rindzeviciute is an associate professor at Kingston University and her talk will focus on nuclear culture and heritage specifically in Russia.
