WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

This 2-day workshop will use a combination of talks, interactive activities, external speakers, and ‘meet the expert sessions’ to improve your knowledge and skills in the design and practical delivery of IPD meta-analysis projects. It will cover the steps involved and help you decide whether an IPD meta-analysis project is likely to be worth the investment. Whilst examples will focus on clinical trials, the course will also be relevant for other types of IPD meta-analysis projects.

The development of this workshop has been funded by the NIHR Clinical Trials Unit support funding. As such, we are offering 10 free places for staff affiliated with UKCRC registered CTUs. One free place per CTU will be offered on a first come first served basis. If you would like to take up this free place, please email Brooke Levis (b.levis@keele.ac.uk) with an accompanying letter of support from your CTU Director.

Registration amendments and/or cancellations can be made by the booker until Sunday 3rd October 2021 at 23.30. Any cancellations after this date are non-refundable and amendments will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please notify the Conference Management team of any amendments or cancellations after Sunday 3rd October 2021 via conference.management@keele.ac.uk.

In the event that the course is cancelled by the organisers, or if for any reason or any factor outside the control of the organisers the course cannot take place, the liability of the organisers shall be limited to the refund of the course costs. The organisers shall not be liable for any other attendee or booker loss, cost or expense, however caused, incurred or arising.
