Introducing the Unlocking Potential Hub in D2N2
Through a three year project – The Unlocking Potential Hub – we’re joining forces with local businesses, teachers, parents and young people to pass on useful insights into the world of work and careers.
As a local business, your part in this could involve:
- Helping teachers to understand your industry so that they are better equipped to engage young people in pursuing it as a career
- Delivering talks, projects and open days yourself, such as work place tours, or ‘Meet the Expert’ question and answer sessions
- Hosting mock interviews to boost young people’s confidence and readiness for entering the workforce
- Plus so much more
Activities, workshops and projects you are involved in will be publicised online, so your business will benefit from increased marketing and brand awareness, as well as demonstrating social responsibility, which will build your local reputation.
