19 yr old living in a lambing shed, can you help?

Hi, my name is John Muldowney and I work for Foróige, the national youth organisation. I am trying to help a wonderful young man, BSB, whose circumstances are awful at present. He is estranged from his family after falling out with his stepfather and has been living in a neighbours lambing shed for the past 8 months. He lives in a very remote part of Donegal and is an animal rescue volunteer who has quite a menagerie, including pigs, goats, pigeons, turkeys, chickens and cats that are kept on a kindly local lady's land close by. He cares for these animals like children and it is because of them that he cannot simply move into a town or village; he needs to be close to them to feed and water them twice daily. Things have deteriorated recently; after drinking to numb himself to his circumstances he found himself in the woods with a rope around his neck, intent on taking his own life. The only thing that stopped him was the thought of his mother's sorrow at burying her child. Last night, he related all this to me with such calm indifference that my heart was breaking for him.

The lady in question has offered him a site to place a mobile home/caravan on; the issue is that he hasn't the money to buy one and have it connected to services. This is where I hope you can come to the rescue. Please donate whatever you can; every euro will make a difference.
