BEAT IT - WORLD RECORD FASHION ATTEMPT EXTRAVAGANZA In Aid Of Sligo Cancer Support - Wednesday 16th October - Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo On the 16th October we will be attempting to beat the World Record for most models in a fashion show, currently set at 408 in Thailand in 2018, to raise much needed funds for Sligo Cancer Support. We are aiming to have 500 people modelling on the night led by the inspirational cancer survivor and Rose of Tralee star Chloe Kennedy. This once in a lifetime World Record Attempt will see 4 former Miss Ireland’s hit the catwalk on the night for these amazing causes. With the list of models growing daily we are delighted to announce that Ireland's official representative for Miss Universe will also be modelling on the night. To ensure the ladies aren't stealing all the limelight on the night, Kerry football legend and Sky Sports commentator Kieran Donaghy will also be strutting his stuff down the catwalk. GAA Sports personalities Paul Flynn from Dublin and Galway stars Shane Walsh and Damien Comer will try out their new skills of the pitch on the night modelling. In what is shaping up to be a who's who in the celebrity world, singers Nathan and Jake Carter will be hitting the catwalk on the night along with Rory O Connor, social media and internet comedian sensation of Rory’s Stories. Sligo Cancer Support Centre is a place of peace and hope where people with cancer and their families can access support, counselling, holistic therapies and healing workshops in a caring and tranquil environment in the North West of Ireland. A place where no one feels alone on their journey to recovery.
