4.5 tormenting stars
Wow! I thought book 1 was good, but book 2 was so much better. There was tons of angst, chemistry and drama. I simply loved Jax. Danny was a little annoying at times, but I understood her hesitation. She definitely had logical reasons for the way she felt about things. Some life struggles really do change a person’s perspective. The story line was good, I enjoyed the long build up with tons of sexual tension. I loved how sweet and caring Jax was with Danny. Great read!

Jax and Danny couldn't just stop at being friends. They both knew their attraction was beyond friendly, but they never knew when they would take the next step. This book is filled with lust, friendship family...and a couple of secrets that we learn. Awesome read!!

This story is filled with so much pain and anguish. These two have had past that would tear up the hardest heart. It isn't an easy story for either of them to tell, and few truly know their individual stories. The author does a great job with sharing their pain and it's sometimes painful being a witness to the ping pong, boomerang type of relationship they have but both are afraid to move forward. When the past meets the present each of them are thrust back into dealing with things and have to make choices. I just don't know what to say. On the one hand I am so glad this author took the time for her characters to work their stuff out, since it really makes the story so much more believable. On the other hand the back and forth and woe is me and I'm not good enough or I will destroy things, thoughts did become tiresome. It's a fine line and a book that's worth dealing with that fine line. I'm glad I took a chance on this author's standalone reads that bring this series to life.

This is the second book in what is leading to a phenomenal series, and is Danny and Jaxson’s story. These two are both broken souls who are running from their pasts. The chemistry between these two is intense; however, will they take a chance and heal each other. This is a beautifully written story which is filled with angst, chemistry, and is an emotional roller coaster journey, which had me totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read Toxic, the next book in this thrilling series.

This is the second book in the Twisted Series and I was hooked from the first page again. This is Jaxson and Danny's Story. I adored this story full of hot chemistry and lots of angst. They both have broken hearts and souls, trying to avoid love and being hurt again at all costs. I never expected the twists Jaxson and Danny have to endured and couldn't put this book down. The emotions I went through ugh. Will they be able to overcome their fears and be happy together or will their pasts keep them apart? This is one great read that will keep you on your toes.

This book was omg good. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better it does. This story is about Danny and Jax. Two broken and damaged souls that finally find love with each other . They were beat friends for so long and fought their feelings until one day they finally gave in. They make the beat couple ever. Can't wait for Toxic which I'm about to start now. Emily you rocked this series girl. I absolutely love it.

The build up of their friendship is beautiful but both are scared to take it further. Then faces from both their pasts show up, will it end their friendship or building into something stronger?

The chemistry between Danny and Jax is so 🔥🔥 two broken people that are trying so hard not to let their walls crumble! Emily is a genius! Completely sucks you in to her books! Highly recommend the twisted series!!! Seriously.... read this series!!!!

Oh Emily Rose, what the heck are you doing to me?? I have never connected with a storyline or characters like Danny and Jaxson. I thought my heart was going to burst reading Miles' and Ray's story, but dang you ramped it up to 11 with Danny's and Jax's story. The angst and passion this couple share is out of the stratosphere. I cannot wait to see what "Toxic" has in store for your avid readers.
If you have not begun this beautifully haunting trilogy, then I recommend starting immediately. Ms. Rose has delivered another fantastic novel that will leave you begging for more. Her story and character development is amazing. He flare to make you feel what the characters is beyond wonderful. When I am reading her works, I feel every emotion of her characters and I can't get enough. Five huge flames "Torment!" 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Torment is Danny Marshall and Jaxson Steele’s story…..and OMG what a story! Both of these characters are heartbroken, and running away from their pasts. You can feel their pain while they are both trying to deal with whatever life throws at them.
I was hooked from the first page to the last. I couldn’t put it down as I needed to know how their story ended. There were times I found myself yelling at Danny and Jaxson – as I thought they both needed each other mentally and physically. This is the second book in the series and like the first this has a story line that is unbelievable and has so many ups and downs and keeps you invested in the storyline. This is a real page turner as you just can't believe what you are reading with all the twist and turns in the storyline. Well developed characters that you find yourself falling in love with. Unbelievable story that makes you want more. Very easy to read and a page turner. When you finish this book you will want to hurry up and get the next book in the series because you will want to know what is going to happen next. I was not only impressed with Torment, I loved how well the story was written and how well the characters were created to tell a well worth reading novel. I know you will love it too.

I give this book 5 stars... I couldn't put it down, when my husband talk to me while reading this he had to put his hand in front the because I was so into the book that I didn't hear him.. Danny and Jax are like my favorite couple out of the book... How Danny has over come her past to be with the guy that she was might to be with, and how Jaxson left his past go to know that no matter what Danny was the right woman for him and how he land all his cards out on the table for her to let her know that no matter what that he will always do the right thing for her and by her, how he waited for her to understand her feeling for him... Once that Danny realized that Jax was her person also it was magical to see them blossom into my favorite couple

Absolutely love this book. It was amazing. I can't believe 2 people who are obviously meant to be together fight so hard against it. Jax and Danny are an amazing couple together. Yes, they had their moments of stupidity and psycho exes but in the end they finally admitted their feelings. I love it when books suck you in. Book number 3 in ready for ya!

wow second book in this series and i loved it! she is trying to build a new life after the pain she went through with her ex. the biker he has his own demons to slay. they cant seem to stay away from each other but still dont want a relationship. you must read this book!

I really enjoyed this! These characters both have scary demons lurking within, but together they are able to overcome the sad and crappy times.

Absolutely loved Danny and Jax’s book even if it did tear my heart out and rip it to shreds! Glad they had each other no matter what their bitter ex’s tried to do! Can wait to read more of the Twisted Series.
