Qualify for an IG Pro Level 1 or Pro Level 2 account and you’ll unlock a range of features, including lower margins and volume based rebates (however certain investor protections are not available).
If you satisfy either of the below criteria, you may be eligible.
Pro Level 2:
- You have consistent leverage derivatives trading experience of at least 4 quarters over the last 5 years, AND
- You have net assets exceeding A$2.5 million or annual income exceeding A$250,000
Pro Level 1:
- You have 4 quarters' leverage derivatives trading experience during which you consistently placed trades of qualifying size* or you have held a professional role for at least 12 months which gave you experience trading derivatives, AND
- You have income exceeding A$100,000 or savings and investments exceeding A$500,000, AND
- You pass a short knowledge assessment to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of leveraged products as part of the application process
*'Qualifying size' means opening notional size per trade >$20,000 for equities or >$100,000 for Indices, FX or Commodities; OR Total notional size of all trading (opening & closing) per quarter > $1m for equities or $5m for Indices, FX or Commodities.
