Rehab Group has a lot to offer future employees from 27 days of annual leave to a clear path for career progression.

Research shows that the average person spends roughly one-third of their life working. So, naturally, choosing a career that feels meaningful is high on the list of priorities for many. Job satisfaction can be found through many areas of our working lives, from impacting our communities to having access to opportunities and job security.

For these reasons and more, it is easy to understand why people dedicate their careers to health and social care work.

For more than 70 years, Rehab Group has provided disability and support services for over 10,000 adults and children. Every day Rehab Group employees work to support people to live lives of their choosing and to thrive, achieve and shine. They work tirelessly to champion diversity and inclusion for people with disabilities or disadvantage in their communities.

This summer, a recruitment roadshow will kick off across the country with a range of roles with the disability organisation on offer.

These roles include a variety of contracts, including full-time, part-time and flexible, for residential and day service jobs, and come with many benefits, such as 27 annual leave days, company pension and income protection. Rehab Group also offers all employees access to their Wellbeing programme and a clear path for career progression.

Joining the team

Nicky Scudds, CareLink Home Based Services Manager at Rehab Group, says that she and the team strive to make a difference in people's lives.

"It's about supporting a person to live independently. It's what drives us all, what keeps us going, building relationships with people over the years. Just being able to see how you can make a difference to someone's life, it's very rewarding. We have a fantastic team; we have lots of people from different backgrounds. It's a great service because it's very flexible, it's a very varied job, and we have a good progression path for our employees.”

Those who take on a new role will join a dedicated group of workers who help support the community daily.

Gráinne Fogarty, Director of Care at Rehab Group, says, "We have the most amazing employees in Rehab Group. Employees that dedicate their lives, day to day, to making positive changes within the lives of others. Every day, the employees never cease to amaze me in what they do. We have helped people in our services reach multiple milestones. We have changed and improved the lives of so many people across the country.”

What to expect at the roadshows

The recruitment roadshows, which begin in July, will take place across Tipperary (July 22nd), Galway (August 26th) and Kerry (September 23rd).

Rehab Group expects to offer applicants on-the-day interviews, and the team are excited to meet potential applicants.

“We would encourage anyone who is considering a role in health and social care to come out and have a chat to us about what roles are on offer at our fantastic organisation and a career that makes a real difference,” added Ms Fogarty.

Attending a roadshow is highly recommended for anyone looking to advance their career or learn more about life as a health and social care worker. Job offers will be extended to successful applicants on the day, allowing new employees to quickly join the team and start the next chapter of their careers.

Whether you are seeking greater fulfilment at work, more job stability, or something a little closer to home, a career with Rehab Group might be what you are looking for.
