As a professional linguist (MITI – French, MCIL - Spanish) with a Masters in Translation and trained as an Interpreter at the universities of Bath, Caen and Granada, Lynn founded Lifeline initially as a telephone interpreting service for international hauliers.
Today, the company has offices in Preston and France, offering F2F and remote interpreting plus translation, transcription, proof-reading, typesetting, subtitling and voice-over. Lynn remains fully involved in project management and staff mentoring, using her languages on a daily basis in customer relationship management and strategic decision-making.
