Nuno Garoupa Elected to Executive Board of ASCL

Professor Nuno Garoupa

Professor Nuno Garoupa has been elected to the executive board of the American Society of Comparative Law for a term of two years (2021-2023). The American Society of Comparative Law (ASCL) is the leading organization promoting the study of comparative law. Founded in 1951, it is a thriving organization of about 100 institutional sponsor members, both in the United States and abroad. George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School joined the American Society of Comparative Law in 2018. Professor Garoupa has a long-established research interest in law and economics, empirical legal studies, comparative law and comparative judicial politics, including several articles published in the American Journal of Comparative Law.
