I wrote some things for the Big Think about the only two things I know anything about: sports and startups AI has changed *almost* everything. But when it comes to what makes a successful leader, not much has changed. The only place I have ever experienced the week-in, week-out urgency that exists in high-level football is at a high-growth startup. This is one of the many reasons that old-school gridiron leadership lessons counter-intuitively translate to the wild world of AI startups.
