Serving the world’s leading independent index providers, the Index Industry Association (IIA) is a not-for-profit organization representing the global index industry. By working with market participants, regulators, and other representative bodies, the IIA seeks to strengthen markets and the index industry by promoting sound business practices and advocating the highest level of ethics and integrity. Our members have calculated indices since 1896. And in total, members of IIA calculate approximately two million indices for their clients, covering a number of different asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and commodities.
