Zhong Neng Offsore Wind Farm has achieved a significant milestone with the installation of our first wind turbine. 🤩🎉 This achievement is a testament to the exceptional teamwork between the shareholders CSC and CIP, the Project team, and our dedicated contractors, Vestas Vestas, CDWE CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering, and Fred. Olsen Windcarrier Fred. Olsen Windcarrier. 🤜🤛 Together, we've worked safely and efficiently to reach this milestone and contribute to Taiwan’s renewable energy targets. 🌏 We look forward to further collaboration as installation progresses, and conclude the offshore installation campaign as planned.

ZN Onshore Substation Successfully Connects to Taipower Grid! The Onshore Substation of the 300 MW Zhongneng (ZN) Offshore Windfarm is situated in the Changhua Industrial Area, with TECO awarded as the EPC contractor for the construction of the substation. With ZN’s strong localization commitment, the onshore facility accommodates several equipment supplied by Taiwanese manufacturers, including the transformer and reactor from Shilin Electric, TECO’s switchgear and distribution panel, and onshore cables delivered by Walsin. The substation’s detail design was performed by PECL, with Jenyi Construction being responsible for the construction of the building and cable duct bank. Taiwan-based Rally Tech and Intelligent Cloud Plus both contribute to the control system, which plays a crucial role in windfarm operations.

Zhong Neng Offshore Wind Farm – 2023 Construction Look back https://lnkd.in/gVFsmzNW Offshore Wind Farm construction is a competition with time. Looking back on Zhong Neng in 2023, The onshore substation facilities are gradually in place, export cables installed, Foundation fabrication is complete, offshore installation works continue day and night. We closely monitor construction progress. Offshore construction is a complex, collaborative process. Zhong Neng endeavours to safely complete the wind farm on time. Zhong Neng Makes Impossible Possible with Taiwan Supplier🤝🛠 - Series 3/3 https://lnkd.in/gWZt2W2Q The very first problem with cane production was that there was no supplier willing to invest in the equipment. Zhong Neng has to convince the supply chain that there is a future for the industry. Sing-Da Marine Structure, the jacket foundation supplier of the Zhong Neng Project, plays a significant role in managing more than 20 sub-suppliers in this project. Jacket foundation fabrication is a rally between the Zhong Neng team, Sing-Da team, and time. The Zhong Neng Project spent three years in making Taiwan a jacket foundation specialist. This week our contractor CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering completed the pin pile installation campaign! This is a big milestone this year on our Zhong Neng offshore wind farm and an important enabler to complete the project next year according to planning. I like to thank all the people on Zhong Neng and CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering that have worked hard over the last year to complete this scope and in parallel with the jacket foundation campaign. I’d like in particular to thank the hard and persistent work of the Apollo installation vessel crew. We are very excited to announce that the first jacket has been successfully installed for the Zhong Neng Project! This is a remarkable moment for Taiwan’s offshore wind development, as ZN welcomes Green Jade’s maiden voyage, the first Taiwan built installation vessel operating under the Taiwanese flag. This impressive moment would not have been possible without the efforts and teamwork between SDMS, CDWE, and the ZN team—with SDMS delivering 31 jacket foundations ahead of schedule, and CDWE bringing Green Jade online in time to commence ZN’s jacket campaign. We would like to congratulate everyone involved for this tremendous start, and we wish our construction team a safe and peaceful trip for the remaining installation works.
