2023 was another challenging year for people and businesses around the world. In times like these, it's more important than ever not to lose focus on our sustainability ambitions. As of FY23, we decreased our climate footprint by 22% in absolute terms compared to baseline FY16 and accelerated our climate actions, reduced plastic packaging in consumer goods by 47% compared to baseline FY21, and continued contributing to a fair and equal society. What comes to mind when you think of life at home? Over the last decade, we at IKEA have spoken to over a quarter of a million people in more than 40 countries. Seeking to understand life at home, we tapped into the deep emotions people feel about life inside their four walls. The IKEA Life at Home Report 2023 is a culmination of findings from this year’s research as well as insights from nine previous editions. In this new partnership, we'll focus on three main areas over the next 2.5 years - just transition and children's rights, family-friendly policies, diversity and inclusion, and children's rights in a digital world.
