The menu tasting was a tough job, but as CEO I felt it was essential that I take on the difficult task of sampling an extensive variety of dishes, from starters to mains and then desserts, and more buffet options and sweet treats than you could shake a stick at. So what did make the cut? Will we be dining on duo of pork shoulder and loin with apple mash and honey roasted veg, or wild mushroom ragout with potato rosti and char-grilled asparagus? Did the popping candy cheesecake make the final selection, and was the raspberry panacotta superior to the chocolate brownie?
