Kent History Showcase 2023 - talks programme

Short talks 10.30 to 11.45am. Literary Journeys in Kent (Michelle Crowther, Canterbury Christ Church University) Medieval Pilgrims (Cressida Williams, Canterbury Cathedral) , the global links of Dover’s Maison Dieu (Martin Crowther, Maison Dieu). 2pm to 3.30pm: the Dover Bronze Age boat (Professor Paul Bennett, Dover Bronze Age Boat Trust), Medieval Animals (Dr Diane Heath, Canterbury Christ Church University), VAD nurses and Belgian soldiers in WW1 (Hazel Basford, Western Front Association).

A small lift (maximum width 775mm) provides access up to the main floor of the building where there is an accessible toilet. Access to the building is being upgraded as part of the current project.
