You want your child to be happy and healthy. And that means you already know the places you can get help and advice if they’re not well or are struggling at school. Yet support is also there if you’re worried your child is being radicalised by extremists.

We’ve partnered with Counter Terrorism Policing to highlight their safeguarding website, ACT Early, which is for parents, friends and families who are concerned about loved ones at risk of radicalisation.

With children spending more time than ever on social media and gaming platforms, it’s no surprise that online grooming by extremists is on the rise.

The ACT Early website has lots of tips on spotting the signs your child is being radicalised and advice on how to talk to them about extremism. It also signposts you to other organisations that can help.

Explore our hub for advice on how to start the conversation with your child about radicalisation, the extremist groups targeting children (and how they’re doing it) and what happens when you reach out for help and support.

Did you know that children as young as 12 in the UK are being targeted and groomed to support extremist ideologies?
